Divas on the Green is unique networking event for women, which happens to involve a bit of golf, a fair amount of champagne and a whole lot of fun! I've been holding this event as a fundraiser for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service & the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation since 2010.

Outside of my day job, I'm also a Team Leader for Inspired Adventures, and am privileged to lead fundraising treks for charity all over the world. Some of my adventures have included the Great Wall of China, Kokoda, Machu Picchu, El Camino de Santiago, New Zealand and Cradle Mountain.

 Fred Smith - The Sparrows of Kabul

In August 2022, I coordinated a local concert for Australian Diplomat and musician Fred Smith here in Newcastle, to support the local Afghan Refugee Community.  Proceeds from the event were shared evenly between two charities working to support Afghan communities - the Indigo Foundation, Community Refugee Sponsorship Australia

 Chair, Hunter Homeless Connect Inc.

I've been employed by community housing provider, Home in Place since 2016 as their Events & Community Relations Manager and have had the privilege of coordinating many fundraising events for our youth mentoring and scholarship program - Grow a Star and also the annual Hunter Homeless Connect Day event since 2017. In 2021, I was elected as Chair of Hunter Homeless Connect Inc. and continue to advocate for people experiencing homelessness.

In October 2019, my dear friend Dr Jodie Fleming launched her memoir "A Hole In My Genes" in Newcastle. I organised a launch event for her (A Conversation on the Couch) at the sublime 48 Watt Street venue. We raised over $6,000.00 for the Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation .

I'm a dedicated music lover and one of my passions is to support local Aussie musicians, as well as the odd charity! Over the years I have held several successful events at Lizotte's in Newcastle, supporting local musicians Karen Soper and Kim McCartin and bands including Benjalu and the Mason Rack Band.
